Why hello there! It wasn't my plan to be away from this space for so long, but when your internet service goes kaput a girl has no choice. When the two other lap tops in the house also go kaput, I now have to share the one and only computer--mine. Which means that when I have a fancy to sit down with my pretty little Mac someone else is usually using it. So yeah, it puts a bit of a cramp in my computer time. Anyway, here are few photos from Salzburg recently. The Christmas market is open, the lights are up and the crowds are out.
We said goodbye to Micah yesterday after a wonderful three week visit. It was such a huge blessing to me have all of us here together. We will miss him so much. While we were in Munich dropping him off at the airport, we decided to make a day of it and check out the city some. We went to the Alte Pinakothek art museum and then down to the Marienplazt. That's the city center with the giant and impressive New Town Hall. The gothic architecture is truly amazing. Anyway, it was so SUPER SUPER crowded, I'm guessing because of the Christmas market that now takes up all of the square--I had a hard time enjoying myself. All I could think of was what a nightmare it would be if I lost Noah. I'm seriously considering some kind of leash for extreme crowd conditions. Don't laugh.
When I started this blog I thought I would be sharing a few photos regularly and chronologically from our experiences here. But I am so far behind on what I was hoping to show you! And I can pretty much throw out the idea of doing it chronologically. When one gets too far behind some of it seems like old hat and you want to get on with the current stuff, ya know? I just take a ton of pictures, all the time. I can't keep up with myself. Anyway, just needed to say all that out loud.
Ok then, I've chatted long enough. Hope you have a wunderbar weekend!
